Check In Cheque Out Team Enjoy The Long-Forgotten Bengali Dishes


Poila Boisakh is not only a new start but also an emotion for the Bengalis.
Understanding this emotion, Novotel Kolkata organized a showcase of long-forgotten Bengali food.

The director and cast of the upcoming film Check In Cheque Out graced the event at Novotel Kolkata.
Gracing the event were director Satrajit Sen, Ishaa Saha, Chandreyee Ghosh, Anuradha Mukherjee, and Ratul Shankar.

Satrajit Sen said that the film talks about two generations. One generation wants to stay attached to the old ways while the other generation wants to forget the old ways. The director was amazed to taste many long forgotten Bengali recipes.
Some of the dishes showcased were Pataler Bankol Bata, Gobindabhog Murighonta, Kalojeera Bata Tangra Makha, and many more.

The film centres on a young, ambitious heiress who goes to extreme lengths to save her family’s faltering legacy hotel. But her attempt to renovate the hotel encounters unforeseen obstacles, which causes the plot to take unexpected turns.
Check In Cheque Out will be released in theatres on 1the 8th of April.
