Aakash Aath has not only been making entertaining serials over the years but also has been involved in the making of thought providing content for the viewers. The channel has come up with a new story on child labour for their Chhoy Masher Mega, Ek Je Chhilo Khoka.

A press conference of the serial was recently organized which was attended by the cast and crew of the serial.

The story focuses on the issue of child labour. The protagonist of the serial is a child named Ashiq and the story traces his journey from being a child labour to his search for a better living, his aspirations and his dreams in the long run.

The cast of the serial consists of Bhaskar Banerjee, Priyanshu Das, Rana Mitra, Pinky Banerjee, Debosree Roy, Aishani Dey, Raj Bhattacharyya and others.

Ujani plays Koel in the serial. “When I heard the script, I was sceptical initially. However I understood that I was just like the character that I had to play. We are both immature and a kid at heart. So it was great to play someone who is so like you in real life. I must thank the crew for tolerating me. Koel is actually shocked when she sees child labour and so with the help of Sams tries her best to do something about the issue” said the actress.

Raj Bhattacharyya who had worked in many Aakash Aath serials till now will be seen in the role of Sams. The actor joked and mentioned that he did not the full name of Sams- whether it was Shyamaprasad or Shyamacharan. The actor also added that he and his co-star Ujani teased each other and played pranks in between shots.

Aishani Dey will be seen in the serial after her last sting in another Aakash Aath serial Nati Binodini. The young actress when questioned said that she liked working in Nati Binodini and also in Ek Je Chhilo Khoka. Aishani mentioned that in between shots, she played with the other kids on the set.

The director of the serial is Robin Das.

The new serial will begin from 1st July, every Monday to Saturday at 7.30 pm only on Aakash Aath.
