The JW Marriott in Kolkata hosted the Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025, which celebrated the best in Bengali cinema by bringing together the best performers, artists, and talents.
For his outstanding contribution to Bengali cinema, Biswajit Chatterjee received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
One of the night’s most memorable moments was when Subhashree Ganguly wrapped up her incredible medley performance by dancing with all of her peers, including Mimi Chakraborty, Monami Ghosh, Rituparna Sengupta, Koushani Mukherjee, and Jaya Ahsan, on her well-known song Mala Re from the film Romeo.
Puja Banerjee’s performance on the popular dance songs “Chadd Gaya Pyaar Ka Bukhaar” and “Police Chorer Preme Poreche” left everyone in awe. Koushani Mukherjee and Parambrata Chattopadhyay captivated the audience with a stunning performance from their most recent movie, Killbill Society. Cizzy and Singini Chowdhury enthralled the audience with a captivating rendition of their most recent song, Ula La, adding to the evening’s charm.
Gracing the event were Rajkummar Rao, Rituparna Sengupta, Sunil Agarwal (Co-founder & Chairman, JOY Personal Care), Mr. Parimal Podder (Senior Channel Partner, Lalbaba Rice), Debolina Dutta, Mimi Chakraborty, Jaya Ahsan, Vikram Chatterjee, Shantanu Maheshwari, Barkha Bisht, Subhankar Mohanta, Parambrata Chatterjee and more.
