In India, winter is one of the most anticipated seasons, but it may also bring with it a host of illnesses, such as colds, coughs, and respiratory issues, to mention a few. These illnesses are more common during this time of year and typically result from weakened immune systems. A well-known Ayurvedic remedy that dates back almost 3,000 years, chyawanprash is believed to strengthen immunity and offer defense against common diseases, including colds and coughs. Many Rasayana herbs found in Dabur Chyawanprash have immunomodulatory properties that aid in the prevention of numerous illnesses.

Dabur Chyawanprash announced the start of a massive awareness campaign to protect the health of impoverished children nationwide as part of its dedication to protecting the health of future generations. As part of this program, Dabur Chyawanprash and a well-known physician will hold immunity awareness workshops to teach kids about the importance of strengthening their immune systems in order to fend off illnesses brought on by seasonal changes, common bacteria, and viruses.

Over 250 children from Sankhabanik Prathamik Vidyalaya & Sankhabanik Colony Unnayan Samiti attended a special session to kick off the drive in Barrackpore, Kolkata. The purpose of the workshop was to raise children’s awareness of the need to combat illness throughout the winter. The children were also taught how to improve their immunity by eating a healthy diet and practicing basic cleanliness.

“There is a sudden temperature variation during cycles of seasonal change, which leads to illnesses like cough, cold, and flu. Increasing immunity is a useful strategy for combating ailments, including colds, coughs, respiratory issues, etc. By altering weather cycles, Dabur Chyawanprash is a useful way to strengthen immunity,” said Dr. Pandey.

Leading NGOs from 21 Indian cities—Agra, Varanasi, Kanpur, Bhopal, Lucknow, Udaipur, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Siliguri, Patna, Indore, Raipur, Pune, Aurangabad, Hyderabad, Mysore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Gwalior, and Chandigarh—have partnered with Dabur Chyawanprash on this campaign.
