Deepawali Mahotsav 2025- A Great Blend Of Festivity & Devotion

One of the most well-known social and cultural organizations in the area, the Marwari Sanskriti Manch (MSM), held its grand Deepawali Mahotsav 2025 at Salt Lake’s Boimela Prangan (Central Park Mela Ground) (near Karunamoyee Metro Station). Thousands of devotees and guests gathered for the ceremony, which skillfully combined festivity, tradition, and devotion.
The evening’s high point was the Ladies Wing of Marwari Sanskriti Manch‘s Maha Aarti of the 24-foot-tall idol of Goddess Mahalaxmi. A magnificent fireworks and musical spectacular, a captivating display of synchronized digital lights and sound that filled the night sky with color and joy, lavish decorations, and devotional performances reminiscent of Varanasi’s renowned Dev Deepawali, followed the heavenly event. The atmosphere of Central Park changed into a dazzling scene of celebration and devotion, signifying the victory of light over evil.

The event was graced by eminent dignitaries like Smt. Krishna Chakraborty, Hon’ble Mayor, Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation, Shri Sabyasachi Dutta, Hon’ble Chairman, BMC, and Shri Vivek Gupta, MLA & Chief Editor, Sanmarg, Shri Lalit Kr. Prahladka, Founder President of MSM, Shri Lalit Beriwala, Chairman of MSM, Shri Ashok Todi, President of MSM, Shri Vikash Poddar, Secretary of MSM. Their participation highlighted Marwari Sanskriti Manch’s ongoing role in conserving the city’s rich cultural legacy and gave the event warmth and prestige.

The Marwari Sanskriti Manch team organized special attractions, cultural exhibits, devotional performances, and bhajans for this year’s event. Traditional décor, lighting displays, and a festive ambiance that emphasized the spirit of Deepawali harmony, hope, and happiness were all enjoyed by the visitors.
The event attracted participants from all across Kolkata and beyond by skillfully fusing spiritual devotion with contemporary spectacle. The heritage of Marwari Sanskriti Manch as one of Eastern India’s leading cultural organizations was confirmed by Deepawali Mahotsav 2025, which combined cultural expression with volunteer work.
