Addatimes has unveiled the look for its upcoming romance drama series Dekhechi Tomake Srabone, which will take place against the backdrop of the monsoon season. This was unveiled following the popularity of Preme Pora Baron and Basanta Ese Gyacche.

Soumya Mukherjee and Neha Amandeep are the lead in the highly anticipated season.

The protagonist of the tale is Rudra (Soumya Mukherjee), the son of wealthy promoter Biswanath (Bharat Kaul), who develops feelings for Ira (Neha Amandeep), a young widow who was dedicated to her late spouse, Ayan. Rudra tries, but Ira rejects him, holding on to the past. For a project, Biswanath’s company seeks to purchase Ira’s house, but her father-in-law declines. Rudra defends Ira and sustains serious injuries as a result of Biswanath’s goons intimidating them. The central plot point of this series will be how Ira and Rudra fall in love amid all the craziness.

Soumya Mukherjee is collaborating with Addatimes for the first time. He said, “I’ve also been wanting to work with Surinder Films for a while, and I’m thrilled that Addatimes is producing OTT shows with excellent writing and heartfelt love stories. Although I grew up seeing heartfelt love stories on TV, they are uncommon in our business these days. I am incredibly appreciative of Nispal Singh and Arijeet Toton Chakraborty for their demonstration of trust and for including me in their incredibly lovely love tale. I hope the audience enjoys this show”.

“Rudra is a fascinating character. Rudra is not a one-dimensional role, which is why I adore essaying roles with multiple dimensions. True, he is erratic, but he is also a devoted and faithful lover who will stop at nothing, not even his own influential family, to win his heart. Because Arijeet sir adds a really special touch to whatever he does, I have also wanted to work with him for a very long time. I am also very emotionally attached to this narrative because we have been talking about it over the phone and in person for the past three months” said Soumya about the role.

Neha Amandeep, who will soon make her web debut on Addatimes, said, “Ira’s ability to find hope again in the face of hardship is what drew me to the role. She is, in my opinion, proof of the human heart’s tenacity. She showed great bravery by choosing to give life and love another chance, which is evidence of her steadfast faith in the enduring power of human connection. Ira’s remarkable combination of strength and vulnerability, sadness and hope, is what makes him such a compelling figure. Her experience is a moving examination of the difficulties associated with love, grief, and having the guts to start over.

Dekhechi Tomake Srabone also stars, Tulika Basu, Moyna Mukherjee, Aditya Bakshi, Buddhadeba Bhattacharya, and Bharat Kaul, in important roles.

Directed by Arijeet Toton Chakraborty the music of the series is composed by Savvy. The songs are sung by Lagnajita Chakraborty and Debayan.

The series is slated to release this September.
