The unique love story “Dilkhush” by Rahool Mukherjee will be SVF’s first film of the year 2023. Recently, team Dilkhush unveiled its official trailer at the opening of the Rooftop Cafe at the legendary Rajbari Bawali. The occasion was held in Rajbari Bawali, an architectural masterpiece, during a wintertime brunch with their specialties.

Present for the launch were Soham Majumdar, Madhumita, Kharaj Mukherjee, Aparajita Adhya, Anasua Majumder, Ujan Chatterjee, Aishwarya Sen, and director Rahool Mukherjee along with Music Director Nilayan Chatterjee and others.

The story of eight people who become trapped in an urban melancholic cycle and fall in love, making their regular lives special, is the focus of the trailer.

Director Rahool Mukherjee while discussing the film said “Dilkhush “is nothing more than the stories about our lives that we see everywhere, every day. It is the narrative of eight distinct people from various social groups who were later brought together by a shared experience of melancholy. But in every fairy tale, there is a smile to be had along with the good. However, as the title of the movie suggests, it will leave moviegoers with a sweet aftertaste in their hearts and thoughts that love has won. We created something new and are hoping people would like it “.

Soham Majumdar portrays Rishi, as a man of unwavering will, but due to societal expectations, events transpired in a different way. In reference to his role as Rishi and collaboration with Rahool Mukherjee, Soham stated, “I have known Rahool da for a very long time. We planned several projects together but they couldn’t happen at that time. Later, when Rahool Da and Dilkhush arrived, I was astounded by the richness of the characters and narration. I’ll keep my points short and to the point while I see the audience’s reactions to our trailer.

“It was a delightful sight to go through the process of learning and unlearning. I have psychologically prepared myself well for this” said Madhumita.

The film will also show an amazing camaraderie between the characters of Kharaj – Aparajita, and Paran – Anasua.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on 20th January 2023.
