Zee Bangla‘s newest project, Duggamoni O Baagh Mama, a story about fate, faith, and divine connection, will premiere on March 3, 2025, Monday through Friday at 9:30 p.m. This serial, set against the colorful backdrop of rural Bengal, tells the remarkable tale of Duggamoni, an orphan whose fate takes a mystical turn on Mahalaya, the holy day that marks the start of Durga Puja.

Duggamoni, played by the gifted young artist Radhika Karmakar, is not your typical child. With the gift of being able to read the minds of people around her, she sets out on a path of self-discovery, fortitude, and an unbreakable bond with a mother she has never met. The story skillfully combines themes of divine intervention, destiny, and Bengal’s rich cultural legacy. Her destiny and the lives of those around her are changed by her extraordinary gift of mind reading, which is bestowed by divine forces.

In the show, the well-known actress Manali Dey plays Gayatri, a strong, graceful woman who is still troubled by the death of her child even though she comes from a wealthy, traditional, aristocratic family. As fate would have it, she crosses paths with Duggamoni, forming an inexplicable bond. The magnificent Bonedi Bari and the creative center of Bardhaman, home to talented idol makers, are two of the stunning places where their journey takes place.
