Dey’s Publishing unveiled a new book Ranga Dhaner Gaan by Jonaki Mukherjee at Media Centre, Kolkata International Book Fair recently. Noted music composer Debojyoti Mishra, ace film maker Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, popular dancer Alokananda Roy and legendary actress Madhabi Mukherjee graced the release ceremony.

The book showcases the various troubles that women in India generally face. It features stories of fifteen women who are victimized in our male dominated society. It portrays their journey and narrates their stories.

“Ranga Dhaan” stands for women’s power to give birth and their suffering within and “Gaan” stands for their stories, explained the author Jonaki Mukherjee.
