To provide Epsilon Group employees in Vijayanagar, Bellary, Karnataka, with sustainable mobility options, Epsilon Group has teamed with Motovolt Mobility Pvt Ltd, a well-known e-mobility brand. Motovolt‘s electric bikes will be provided at a discounted rate to Epsilon’s more than 600 workers and their families, including senior executives and staff in the company’s Vijayanagar township. With the help of this effort, the company’s employees will be able to commute locally and cut down on their carbon footprint while using traditional modes of transportation.

Through this agreement, Epsilon Group hopes to improve the life of the entire community and help a better environment by offsetting about 945 metric tons of carbon emissions over the next five years. To reduce total fuel usage, Motovolt & Epsilon is encouraging its employees to purchase e-bikes for use on local commutes and to go to work.

“Our partnership with Motovolt Mobility is a big step in the direction of providing our staff with sustainable mobility. At Epsilon Group, sustainability is a top priority. We are dedicated to helping the Indian government realize its goal of Net Zero emissions by 2070 by supporting programs such as these and many others. As pioneers in the chemical sector, we stress the significance of a low-carbon ecosystem, and our collaboration shows our commitment to ethical business practices and our proactive approach to sustainability” said Pratish Koparkar, CHRO of Epsilon Group.

With a Silver Rating from EcoVadis in 2023, Epsilon Carbon has demonstrated its dedication to sustainability and is now ranked in the top 25% of all EcoVadis certified firms as well as the top 5% within the non-metallic minerals category.

Motovolt is dedicated to developing intelligent e-mobility solutions that benefit society and advance sustainability. Fairness and honesty are ingrained in every decision the firm makes, with an eye toward the future of its people, the environment, and its product categories.
