Flavours of Africa launched its Suvo Naba Barsho Special Menu, which features their new Massai Thaali, to welcome the Bengali New Year in true African style. Prepare to be overwhelmed with options and torn between Bengali and African cuisine!

Poila Baisakh is a time to enjoy traditional Bengali food and welcome the new year with its comforting flavors. However, Flavours of Africa celebrated the meeting of the two cultures at the auspicious beginning of the Bengali New Year by serving a flavourful fusion of authentic African and Bengali cuisine, adding a new twist to this year’s Poila Baisakh!

The Poila Baisakh special menu includes both Mboga Sahani (Veg Thali) priced at INR 1200/- and Sio Mboga (Non-Veg Thali) priced at INR 1500/- and is available from April 15th, 2025, to April 25th, 2025.

The menu comprises of dishes like Basanti Pulao (Mchele wa njano), Spiced Fried Fish (Samaki wa Kukaanga), Chingri Machcher Malaicurry (Coco Crevettes), Chicken Dak-Banglow (Doro wat), Kosha Mangsho (Kaanga Mbuzi), Kacher Aamer Chutney (Embe Kijani Salsa), Narkeler Naru (Bon Coco), Payesh (Wali Nazi Pudding na Mango Compote), and Kacha Aamer Sorbot (Embe Kijani Lemonade).
