A free health check-up camp was organized for the poor, underprivileged individuals of the society.

The event was organised by Hindu Satkar Samity.

Serum Thalasseimia Prevention Federation and Susrut Eye Foundation & Research Centre came together for this event in memory of the late Rita Dey.

Anupam Halder (Joint Commissioner of WB Excise, WBCS, Government of West Bengal & Eminent Photo Artist), Mr. Kevin Goh (Deputy Consul-General, Australian Consulate General), Sanjoy Bakshi (TMC Leader), Dr. Shashi Panja, Hon’ble Minister of Industry, Commerce and Enterprises, Government of West Bengal, and other eminent guests.

Dr. Shashi Panja praised Hindu Satkar Samity for organizing such a health camp and thinking about the poor and underprivileged sections. More such camps will only improve the health of the people in society.

This is the second year of this health check-up camp.

An esteemed member of the Samity, Sanjoy Roy, said that the free health check-up camp consisted of eye checkups, dental checkups, and other tests as well.
