Godrej & Hulladek Recycling’s Special E-Waste Management Drives

Godrej Enterprise Group’s Appliances Business, in partnership with Hulladek Recycling, has successfully carried out 200 awareness campaigns, 20 collection drives, and 15 events throughout 23 states as part of a historic effort to manage e-waste responsibly. By Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance for awareness creation, this extensive campaign was created to inform people, organisations, and businesses about the significance of appropriately disposing of e-waste. Over 5,00,000 people in India have been reached and impacted by the initiative, thanks to these persistent efforts, which have also promoted a culture of responsible e-waste disposal.
As part of this effort, awareness campaigns emphasised safe and sustainable recycling methods while educating the public about the risks that improper e-waste disposal poses to the environment and human health. The collection drives were essential in making responsible disposal solutions easily accessible, allowing people and companies to get rid of their outdated electronics without damaging the environment. The circular economy framework in India was further strengthened by bringing important stakeholders together to discuss the future of e-waste recycling in the nation through industry events and interactive engagements.
With sustainability at the core of its business practices, Godrej and Hulladek Recycling’s partnership demonstrates a shared dedication to enacting significant change. Godrej is establishing a standard for corporate responsibility in the management of e-waste by completing its EPR compliance through effective awareness campaigns. This collaboration is an encouraging illustration of how companies can take proactive measures to create a cleaner, greener future, especially as India continues to produce ever-increasing amounts of electronic waste.
