The student’s annual exhibition, “Parampara,” was inaugurated recently.
This is the 160th year of the GOVT. COLLEGE OF ART & CRAFT. CALCUTTA. For generations of artists who have influenced the world with their vision, this institution has served as more than just a school. It has been a home, a haven, and a creative force.
Ms. Rakhi Sarkar, Ms. Moonmoon Sen, Sri Niranjan Pradhan, and DPI Dr. Nimai Chandra Saha graced the occasion.
The faculty and students have redefined the world of art and design over the years. This institution has served as a lighthouse for people who dare to dream and create, from ground-breaking exhibitions to innovative techniques, from classroom discussions to international recognitions.
As they commemorate 160 years of excellence, they also look to the future, one in which art will continue to have a significant influence on the world, where tradition and innovation coexist, and where this institution will continue to nurture creative minds.
