At a lavish press conference at Kolkata’s Pride Plaza, BIG FM, one of the country’s top radio stations, launched the most recent iteration of its eagerly anticipated “BIG Green Durga” campaign. Popular actress Ishaa Saha attended the ceremony, introducing the campaign and endorsing this special fusion of sustainability and dedication.

The focal point of this year’s event is a 3D holographic idol of Maa Durga, a first-of-its-kind, environmentally friendly invention in the city. This digital depiction, which is devoid of clay, carbon, and immersion, maintains the grandeur of Durga Puja while acting as a potent symbol of a more environmentally friendly, sustainable future.

With a heavy emphasis on sustainability, the campaign also reaches out to the community. To interact with followers, encourage eco-friendly behaviors, and recognize individuals who are embracing green efforts, BIG FM’s RJs will travel to more than 50 RWAs, colleges, and paras. In order to ensure that the festive mood is embraced appropriately, a five-day celebration at a mall with a lot of foot traffic will provide guests with live interactions, emcee activities, and RJ-led engagements. The BIG Shakti Awards, which honor ten female entrepreneurs working in the sustainability sector and each embody one of Maa Durga’s astras, are an addition to the project. Their tales of tenacity and accountability will serve as an inspiration to the broader community.

The BIG Studio @Mandap, a solar-powered setup where Kolkata’s favorite RJs will go live, host celebrities, and interact with fans directly from the pandal, is one of the campaign’s main attractions. It will create an immersive festive experience. In order to reach a wider audience, BIG FM will use live reports from pandas throughout Kolkata, professional insights on eco-friendly living, and inspirational stories to promote sustainability on both digital and on-air channels.

With BIG Green Durga, BIG FM has once again demonstrated that joyous occasions can be creative and environmentally responsible, transforming devotion into a group movement for progress.
