ISOCON 2019 To Begin From 15th November; Focus on Prevention and Treatment of Ear Diseases
ISOCON 2019 will be organized from 15th to 17th November 2019 at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, New Town, Kolkata.
A press meet was organized to announce this meet in the presence of Dr Tarun Palit, Dr AM Saha and other eminent ENT surgeons.
ISOCON is organized in Kolkata after a long time. This time the focus of this medical meet is on Otology, the branch of medical science which deals with the prevention and treatment of ear diseases.
Air pollution and noise pollution have increased in recent times. This has led to the rise in the number of people suffering from ear diseases. It has been found that during festivals like Diwali, there is an increase in air pollution and also simultaneous increase in noise pollution due to the bursting of crackers.
The Annual National conference will focus on microscopic ear surgeries, endoscopic ear surgeries, Cochlear implant surgeries, hands on temporal bone dissection workshop on the three days of the conference.
Live demonstration and training of the various workshops and discussion on the latest techniques of the treatments of common as well as rare ENT diseases are the major attraction of ISOCON 2019.
With the help of this conference, there will be an increase in mass awareness and spread of knowledge about latest methods.
