Killbill Society’s Amazing Music Launched At India’s Tallest Watch Tower


India’s tallest watch tower hosted a lavish celebration to unveil the highly anticipated music album of Killbill Society. The film is directed by Srijit Mukherji. The film’s outstanding cast, which included Koushani Mukherjee, Sandipta Sen, Biswanath Basu, and Arijita Mukhopadhyay, as well as the visionary director Srijit Mukherji and the talented crew, were present at the event.

Even though Parambrata Chattopadhyay, who portrays the mysterious Mritunjoy Kar in the movie, was greatly missed by the team because of his obligations, his spirit and well wishes were a significant part of the evening.
With incredible live performances by well-known artists like Anupam Roy, Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury, Ranajoy Bhattacharjee, Durnibar Saha, Tamalika Golder, Sudip Nandy, and Sidhu (Siddhartha Ray), the evening was a treat for music lovers.

The event’s highlight was the exclusive release of the album’s third music video, Shondhe Naamey, on SVF Social’s official YouTube channel. Major audio platforms now offer streaming for the full album, which consists of seven captivating tracks.
The evening was the ideal fusion of modern musical genius and nostalgia. Before leading the audience on a journey with the timeless classic Ekhon Onek Raat, Anupam Roy performed Bhalobeshey Basho Naa to kick off the celebration. Reflecting on his partnership with Srijit Mukherji, he said, “It’s always a journey of rediscovery to work with Srijit. This album continues his tradition of pushing the limits of musical storytelling”.

After that, Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury captivated the audience with Nei Tumi Aager Moto, who expressed her enthusiasm for the project. Later, Durnibar Saha and Ranajoy Bhattacharjee shared the stage to present a special Kandhey Matha teaser.
Tamalika Golder, the music director, invited Sidhu to perform a high-voltage rendition of Referee-r Bnaashi on stage after discussing the dynamic energy of working with Rupam Islam and Sidhu. After that, Sudip Nandy performed a heartfelt version of Likhey Raakhi Prem to close out the live performances.

To formally introduce the album and discuss his vision for Killbill Society, director Srijit Mukherji took centre stage. He said, “This album reflects the heart and soul of the film. The essence of the story is conveyed in each track, and I am so excited to watch these amazing musicians bring it to life”.
