Durga Puja 2025 has come to an end, and it did so with great fanfare and splendor. In addition, the lively competition “Ashley Hill presents Indian Festival Sera Pujo 2025”, co-presented by Arc Insulation & Insulators Ltd and powered by Puzzle Effect, took place with great fervor and splendor.

In addition to being hailed as the greatest in the world, Kolkata’s Durga Puja has sparked many Sharod Samman (autumnal honors) that have improved the pujo committees’ organizational and artistic spirit. The Indian Festival “Sera Pujo” title is one of the most well-known and frequently discussed honors among clubs and committees among these esteemed accolades.

This year is the 21st anniversary of this famous Sera Pujo championship, which started in 2004–2005 and has continued uninterrupted to this day. There was a great deal of excitement and happiness as the 21-year milestone was marked.

The judging panel revealed that, in contrast to previous years, choosing the winners this time was especially difficult — since each pandal and idol seemed to surpass the other in artistry and execution. It’s interesting to note that not only Kolkata but also Chinsurah in Hooghly district displayed exceptional artistic standards this year — and the Sera Pujo title extended its reach there as well. As with previous years, they also introduced several new features in their judging process and award categories this year, including Best Pujo (North), Best Pujo (South), Best Idol, and other special recognitions.

Preparations for the 2026 edition have already started, according to the Indian Festival and Durga Online teams, starting the day after Bijoya Dashami. Their power sponsor Puzzle Effect, co-sponsor Arc Insulation & Insulators Ltd., and title sponsor Ashley Hill have promised to support them going forward. Their encouragement has given the team the confidence and zeal to further elevate Bengal’s most important celebration, the festival of life itself.
