The makers of Lawho Gouranger Naam Rey have finally released the official trailer at a lavish launch event in Kolkata, riding high on the enormous response to the film’s teaser and a number of song releases. The film, which was directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by SVF Entertainment and DCM, has been building audience expectation with its powerful soundtrack and eye-catching images.

The trailer, which was released before the movie’s theatrical release on December 25, 2025, is the culmination of all this enthusiasm.

The film’s canvas was widened by the trailer, which offered a multi-layered story that examined Mahaprabhu Chaitanya’s journey and mystery in three different timelines. It went from Mahaprabhu’s time to Binodini Dasi’s and Girish Ghosh’s worlds before coming to the present, when Rai is seen filming Mahaprabhu’s life. Every age had its own intellectual and emotional weight, which together demonstrated how faith, performance, and reinterpretation are timeless.

The cast of the film consists of Dibyojyoti Dutta, Subhashree Ganguly, Ishaa Saha, Indraneil Sengupta, Bratya Basu, Ananya Banerjee, Aratrika Maity, Alakananda Guha, and others. 

The film’s emotional depth and complexity were hinted at in the trailer, which showed glimpses of their characters in various narrative zones.

In the trailer, music—which has already proven to be one of the movie’s strongest pillars—continued to play a pivotal part. Composed by Indraadip Dasgupta, the film features over 15 songs. Kabir Suman, Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, Jayati Chakraborty, and Padma Palash have sung the songs in the film. 

Arijit Singh’s expressive voice launched the trailer, instantly establishing a tone of dedication and reflection that connected with the central theme of the movie.

Rana Sarkar and Srijit Mukherji spoke to the audience at the trailer’s special launch event, reflecting on the film’s journey and the positive reception the music has already received. Their remarks created a contemplative atmosphere for the evening, which was further enhanced by live musical performances by Padma Palash and Jayati Chakraborty, which gave the event a joyous and engaging vibe. The launch was also attended by veteran National Award-winning Kabir Suman, who kindly sang a few lines to further elevate the occasion. His presence made the event incredibly enriching and unforgettable.

For the official trailer reveal, the actors later joined them on stage. Now that the trailer has been released, Lawho Gouranger Naam Rey is prepared to make its big-screen debut on December 25, 2025, as a cinematic investigation of faith, art, and time.
