An outstanding event that showcases the bright spirit and enormous talent within the LGBTQ community in West Bengal has been announced by the Angel Nabajiban Welfare Society (ANWS), a major non-governmental organization committed to encouraging inclusivity and advancing equality. On July 30, 2023, ANWS will host the “Aalpin” LGBTQ Fashion Show & Beauty Pageant, where members of the LGBT community will get the chance to present their distinctive skills and originality on a big stage. This occasion will make their integration into society more straightforward.

This event, which will take place in Burdwan, aims to showcase the many ways that Bengal’s LGBTQ population expresses flair, beauty, and personality. This historic occasion, held for the first time in West Bengal, strives to dismantle barriers, dispel myths, and promote a more accepting community that accepts everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Leading LGBTQ individuals from West Bengal who have been at the forefront of the fight for the community’s recognition and justice will attend this performance.
