Owner of Dashobhuja, designer Dalia B Mitra said “There is an impact on the creativity whenever something good or bad happens around us. And that is true for this incident as well. But life must go on. We must protest and also go on with our normal lives. The situation was so grave that it is now people are thinking of Durga Puja shopping and other elements related to the puja. Our collection likewise has been created keeping all these in mind”.

The designer revealed that she did not create something magnanimous this Pujo. However, she has created some new blocks for use on saris, dhuti, Punjabi, and many more.

The latest addition is the use of block prints on jeans and shirts/tops.

She has introduced a bag pack that patrons can use for carrying small items during the Puja. This is a handy item that will not only look stylish but also add to the ease of the user.

Dashobhuja also has long dresses for women as well.

“Earlier, there used to be a chilly feeling during the Pujas. But now that does not happen much. But if you want to wear a sleeveless dress, you can team that up with a Khesh shawl from Dashobhuja. It has great block printing that will go well with any dress” added the designer.

There are tailored saris for the kids as well. It comes in amazing colors and beautiful designs.

Customization is available at Dashobhuja. Dhuti-Punjabi, blouse, Uttariyo, and others require customization.

Dashobhuja also has great bags for the patrons. If you want a sling bag or a small bag or even a big bag, the designer will customize it as per the needs of the patrons.
