Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology (GMIT), a prestigious institution under the JIS Group of Engineering Colleges, in proud partnership with the Board of Practical Training- Eastern Region (BOPT-ER), has announced a mega job fair offering over 500 career opportunities across various industries at a time when job insecurity and layoffs dominate headlines and the dreams of countless diploma holders lie in limbo.

Leading academic and business figures joined forces at a press conference today at the Kolkata Press Club to introduce this ground-breaking project.

Some of the companies participating include Iskraemeco, TVS Brake, Technocon Services, Kone Elevator, Dynamic Engineering, Inceptial, RT Network, Prozor Tech, Besco, RNS Green & Renewable Pvt. Ltd., and others.

TVS Brake, as well as Iskraemeco are recruiting for 150–200 positions, while Technocon is also among the major recruiters.

With this initiative, diploma holders from the 2020–2025 batches will have a timely and significant opportunity to start their careers with domestic and international companies.
