Honda Cars India Ltd.(HCIL) started the production of its new mid-size SUV, Honda Elevate.

The company’s cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Tapukara, Rajasthan, began rolling out the vehicle for production, making India the first nation to construct this popular SUV on a worldwide scale. Honda’s dedication to local manufacturing is reaffirmed by the Elevate, which boasts a greater than 90% localization rate.

The Elevate, Honda’s most recent entry in the mid-size SUV sector, has a bold and masculine look with a striking front face, sharp character lines, and a distinctive rear design to give it a strong road presence.

The ELEVATE boasts an unusually roomy interior cabin with a top-class wheelbase, ample headroom, knee room, legroom, and a big cargo area of 458L, all in keeping with Honda’s design philosophy of Man Maximum Machine Minimum.

The Elevate is powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine with VTC mated to a 6-speed MT and a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)and produces power of 89 kW (121 PS) and maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4300 rpm. 

The ELEVATE is equipped with a wide range of active and passive safety features, including Honda SENSING’s Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).

The Elevate is outfitted with Honda Connect capabilities, a connected automobile experience that gives consumers remote car management and access to vital notifications for increased convenience.

To suit various consumer tastes and interests, the Elevate will be available in a wide range of colors, including single-tone and dual-tone variations.

These options include Phoenix Orange Pearl (new color), Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Meteoroid Gray Metallic.

The brand-new Honda Elevate will go on sale and begin taking orders in September 2023. The business has already started taking reservations for the Elevate before it launches.
