New Serial Mittir Bari Pays Ode To Generational Ties
Zee Bangla’s most recent offering, Mittir Bari, is sure to touch viewers’ emotions. NIDEAS Creations And Productions’ Mittir Bari, promises to transport viewers on an engrossing trip that explores the rich cultural legacy of Bengal. The significance of maintaining generational ties, family ties, and the lasting legacy of one’s ancestry are all explored in this captivating story.
The main character of Mittir Bari is Jonaki, portrayed by Parijat Chaudhuri. She is a vibrant and kind young woman whose quest to learn the truth about her mother’s unjust imprisonment brings her to Mittir Bari, a once-grand ancestral home on the edge of disintegrating. There, she meets Adrit Roy‘s character, Dhrubo, a lawyer with strong morals and a passion for the truth, whose beliefs run counter to Jonaki’s propensity for telling white lies. Notwithstanding their disagreements, they band together to prevent the current owners of the dilapidated mansion of Dhrubo from selling it, as they are keen to break with their roots to make money.
Renowned actors like Dulal Lahiri, Anuradha Roy, Shankar Chakraborty, Manasi Sinha, Sonali Chowdhury, and Ananya Banerjee are the other cast members..
The set design for the show has been crafted by National Award-winning art director Ananda Adhya.
The storyline of “Mittir Bari” has been conceptualized by Shaswati Ghosh.
The show’s theme song has been penned by renowned lyricist Priyo Chattopadhyay, composed by acclaimed music director Joy Sarkar, and sung by Anwesha.
Mittir Bari is directed by Sujit Pyne.
It will be aired from 25th November, Monday to Saturday at 9 PM, on Zee Bangla.
