Eminent actress Nusrat Jahan extended her best wishes to Sangita Konar for her upcoming Bengali film Coffee House.

Nusrat Jahan came to Studio OHD to express her support to Sangita. Speaking at the event, she said “New talents must be supported to further the Bengali film industry. Or else the industry will not be able to progress. I wish Sangita Konar all the best for Coffee House”.

The film’s story is based on singer Manna Dey’s popular song Coffee House er sei adda ta aaj aar nei. Sujata who is a prime character in the song is the main character in the film. The film is a love triangle between Sujata, Amal, and Roma.

The lyrics of the song was penned down by Gauriprasanna Mazumder and the music was composed by Suparnakanti Ghosh. The song was sung by eminent singer Manna Dey. This song was released in 1983. This song since its release has become a classic among Bengali listeners.

Sujata’s role is played by model Sangita Konar based in Canada.

Prosenjit Ghosh and Biswajit Ghosh have directed this film.

Renowned Bollywood singer Vinod Rathod has sung the title song of the film.

There is one song in the film which is the title song. Oly Mondal is the music director of the song.

White Horse Picture is the producer of the film.

The film shoot is already over.
