With more than 19 duck meat dishes at The Chowman Chef’s Table – Duck Festival Edition, Chowman launched its eagerly anticipated Oriental Duck Festival. This unique culinary experience is designed to honor the artistry of authentic Chinese cuisine and the harmonious coexistence of cultures.

The event was graced by Mr. Xu Wei, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Kolkata, and Mr. Debaditya Chaudhury, Managing Director of Chowman.

The Chef’s Table hosted an intimate voyage through Chowman’s famous duck delights for connoisseurs, dignitaries, and special guests in honor of the grand opening of the Oriental Duck Festival 2025. For Chowman foodies in places like Kolkata, Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, the month-long celebration—known for its slow-cooked, roasted, and expertly prepared duck dishes—has been a cherished winter custom.

On offer are dishes like Duck Gyoza, Crispy Fried Duck Spring Roll, Smokey Chilli Duck, Tangra Style Duck Rice, Thai Style Duck Meat Meifoon, Sliced Duck in Black Bean Sauce, Schezwan Orange Roasted Duck, and more.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Xu Wei, Consul General, Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Kolkata, said, “With its centuries-old customs and artistry, food has always been one of the most powerful cultural bridges. The Duck Festival at Chowman is a genuinely remarkable event that highlights the breadth and skill of real Chinese cookery in addition to its food. The festival began from 5^th December ’25 onwards, and will be available at all dine-in outlets as well as Chowman App| Swiggy| and Zomato.
