Panchajanya Sharod Srestha Samman 2025 Now Announced

The eagerly anticipated Durga Pujo Award 2025, which honors the creative excellence, cultural diversity, and camaraderie of Bengal’s big festivals, was announced by Panchajanya Sharod Srestha Samman 2025.
This year, the award will honor exceptional work in several categories. Five Srestha prizes, each worth Rs. 50,000, two Udioman prizes, each worth Rs. 25,000, and one Serar Sera prize, worth Rs. 1,00,000, which includes special Jury Awards, Best Pujo Pandal, Best Idol, Best Lighting, Best Theme, and Bengal Lokayata Shilpa. Prominent figures from the fields of art, culture, media, and public life will be on the judging panel.

After three rounds of scrutiny, the 12 noteworthy Pujo Pandals—out of 432 pujos around the city—will be covered by the Final Porikroma convoy on 29.9.2025.
In the presence of dignitaries, celebrities, and local authorities, the Grand Award Ceremony will take place on October 1, 2025, at the grounds of the winning Pujo Pandals.
