To commemorate the occasion of the 75^th Independence Day of India, a new song E Desh Amar Jonmobhumi has been composed. The song has been sung in different languages. A press meet was organized to announce this upcoming new song. Rupankar Bagchi, Mallar Ghosh, Abhijit Paul, and others graced the occasion.

The song has been created by Abhijit Paul. He has mixed a part of the song Dhono Dhanno Pushpe Bhora, a song by Dwijendralal Ray. The lyrics have also been penned down by him.

Eminent singers like Rupankar, Usha Uthup, Gourab Sarkar, Arman Lama, Gurjeet Singh, Mahesh Dheera, Nimmi Priya, Jyoti Sharma, and Arup Chowdhury have lent their voices for this song.

The music arrangement has been done by Subhasis Biswas.

Speaking at the event, Rupankar said “This is indeed a great initiative to celebrate the 75^th Independence Day of our country. I have not listened to the song after the final mixing. But with so many talented singers lending their voices to the song, I am sure that the final product has turned out to be a good one”.

The event also saw the announcement of an OTT platform that will showcase films, music, theatre, and many more. The OTT platform will be available in Bhojpuri, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, and Telegu.

The song E Desh Amar Jonmobhumi will be released during Independence Day.
