In the presence of renowned author Shri Abul Bashar as an honorary chief guest, renowned author Shri Prachet Gupta, and legendary music composer Shri Debojyoti Mishra, Chaiti Ghoshal unveiled the poster for her first directorial theatre production, Raktakarabi, at the press club.

Human values have been subordinated to machines and artificial intelligence in our society. And the majority of our existence is characterised by fear, danger, and alertness.

“I swear to bring Raktakarabi back to the stage one more time. Debojyoti Mishra’s musical performance will be exquisite and keep everyone hooked to their seats. It is a privilege for me to have renowned writers like Abul Basaar and Procheto Gupta discuss the play and its themes at the launch of our poster, Raktakarabi. The play’s subtle portrayal of Raja by Debesh Ray Chowdhury is a highly motivating aspect of our theatre. I have attempted to revive and reassemble my father’s theatre company, Offbeat Theatre,” said Chaiti Ghoshal.

The play will be staged on 5^th April 2:30 pm at Academy Of Fine Arts, Kolkata.

This will be the first performance of the play.
