Raktabeej is a thriller. It shows the country’s president coming to his native village. An accidental blast happens in a firecracker unit, a few kilometers away from his home. It shows a great threat to his life. How the police spring into action and combat this problem is what the film is all about.

Speaking at the event, Shiboprosad Mukherjee said “This is the first time we directed a thriller and to get this amazing amount of love and appreciation for the film is a blessing indeed. We will want the film to continue with this amazing run”.
