Recipe: Khasta Golaap by Mrs Sudebi Deb
Recipe- Khasta Golaap
Ingredients-
- Flour
- Dalda or Refined Vegetable Oil
- Sugar syrup (the syrup must be of medium density and not too thin)
- One pinch food soda
- Little bit salt
- Little bit rice flour
Method-
Mix the flour with salt, food soda, vegetable oil or dalda and make dough out of it. Make a roti out of it. Then with the help of a round shaped object, cut round shapes out of it. Put the pieces one on top of the other by applying oil and rice flour on them. Make a bud out of the dough and keep it in the middle of the round layers. Cut the round shapes (not completely) to form the rose petals. Make the petals and add them to the bud. Once the rose is ready, fry it in oil and then dip it in sugar syrup. Your Khasta Golaap is ready to be served!!
