Rituparna Sengupta and Anurag Kashyap will be acting together for the first time for a Hindi film titled Bansuri. The film is directed by debutant director Hari Biswanath.

For the first time, Debojyoti Mishra will be singing a Hindi song for this film. Anurag will be lip-syncing the song sung by Debojyoti. There are three songs in the film. Shreya Ghoshal and Papon have also sung in the film.

Bansi or flute is an important character in the film. Apart from that the different shades in a relationship between parents and their kids have also been highlighted in this film.
