The unveiling of the title and the cast announcement of the upcoming Bengali film Hridpindo took place recently.

Present at the occasion was director Shieladitya Moulik, Paroma Neotia, Arpita Chatterjee, Anubhav Kanjilal, Shaheb Chatterjee, Prantik Banerjee, Ananya Sengupta and others.

The film is about Arja, a married woman working as a lecturer in a science college. Her husband Somak loves her. One day, Arja travels back to her teens. She used to be in love with a boy named Wrick then. This leads to an emotional tussle between the three people. Does she listens to her heart or does she goes with what her brain asks her to do?

The cast of the film consists of Arpita Chatterjee (Arja), Shaheb Chatterjee (Somak), Prantik Banerjee (Rick), Ananya Sengupta (Rimpi), Anubhav Kanjilal (Student) and others.

Anubhav Kanjilal will be seen in a cameo role in the film. He did not reveal much about the role but he mentioned that the character is pivotal to the plot of the film.

Shaheb Chatterjee who had worked with Arpita Chatterjee in the film Laboratory recalled having done many romantic scenes with her for the film. He was looking forward to acting with her in the film.

Arpita Chatterjee who will be seen in the role of Arja said that when she heard the script she immediately liked it and agreed to do the film. She also added that the director’s first film Sweater was a romantic film and this one will also turn out to be a very romantic film.

The film is produced by Paradise Film Production Company Ltd.

The shooting of the film has already started. The film will be shot in Kolkata and Arunachal Pradesh. The director felt that the film will be visually appealing to the audience as not many films have been shot in Arunachal Pradesh.

Since the film revolves around matters of the heart, the makers have planned to release the film in February 2020.
