The renowned real estate developer Siddha Group has started an annual Plantation Drive, an effort to improve community welfare and encourage environmental sustainability. In observance of World Nature Conservation Day, the Siddha Group organized the second phase of the plantation campaign at Siddha Galaxia.

The event was graced by eminent personalities like Vikram Chatterjee, renowned Actor, Indrajit Lahiri Founder of Foodka, celebrated content creator and published author, Satrajit Sen, Producer & Director, and saw active participation from the residents of Siddha Galaxia.

Speaking at the event, Vikram Chatterjee said “Trees are very important for our well-being. Without trees, we would not be able to live. Global warming and climate change are some of the things that are taking place all around us. I am happy that Siddha Group is taking the initiative to plant trees and make a difference in the environment”.

This group effort is a big step in the direction of building a more sustainable and greener future.

Indrajit Lahiri and Satrajit Sen added that planting trees will help better the climate of the planet and make the world a better place for the next generation.

The project, which got its start in New Town, Kolkata, demonstrated Siddha Group’s continuous dedication to halting climate change, lessening environmental damage, and protecting biodiversity. In response to the urgency of these issues, Siddha Group has promised to plant 50,000 seedlings by the year 2030. 200 seedlings were planted by the inhabitants and guests to kick off the drive. Senior Siddha experts, Mr. Dev Sethia, and the Siddha Group organized and attended the event.

The Plantation Drive is a manifestation of Siddha Group‘s overarching goal of integrating sustainability into all of its main business activities and community outreach initiatives. Siddha has a proven track record. From 2012 to 2015, they successfully planted 50,000 trees. Siddha Group works with a range of stakeholders to make a substantial contribution to international programs that address climate change and restore natural environments.
