Jewelry is not only an asset but also enhances your personality. Auram Jewellery started with this thought. It is a jewelry boutique. Whatever way one wants to design their jewelry, Auram will help with that.

The important reality about fashion and style is that trendsetting, not invention, is what matters! What distinguishes styles and initiates a fashion trend is going beyond the inherent material value and instead adding value through the glamour quotient! Given the enormous amount of art and culture that has come from the Tagore House, the first family of the Bengal Renaissance, Thakurbari, rightfully holds the prestigious position of setting trends in modern history. Indians have worn jewelry regularly for ages, and our jewels have always been a true reflection of the wealth of our land! In addition to our infatuation with wearing jewelry for its lucky charm, Indian jewelry has a rich history and craftsmanship that dates back thousands of years!

Therefore, it has been a journey, a silent revolution, whereby design has surpassed tradition with skill and taste to create today’s statement and art pieces of jewellery!

An event, All That Glitters: Alankar Ahankar (The journey of jewellery from tradition to fashion), was organized at Auram Jewellery.

Bhramar Mallick, Managing director and co-founder of Auram Jewellery, Alokananda Roy, acclaimed dancer and social reformer, Swastika Mukherjee, actress, Anusreea Paul, IT professional and social media influencer, Shilpa Chakraborty, Entrepreneur and HR professional, and Mousumi Sengupta, Media personality, columnist, and social media activist, graced the occasion.

Alokananda Roy said, “The aura of Auram is different from the other jewelry outlets. They have a rustic feel to their jewelry. It is not like a typical jewelry store with gold or silver jewelry. It has a subtle way that I like. I have witnessed many fashion changes. Originality stays. India has diverse dance forms. I don’t know whether any other country has so many classical dance forms. The jewelry worn by the different dance forms is different. Auram has a taste of everything. It is lovely to be a part of their event”.

Swastika Mukherjee said, “This is a new place for jewelry lovers. The designs are minimal, ideal for the hot and humid Kolkata summers. Customization is available, which is a great thing. I love the old designs that my mother or grandmother used to wear. I will be able to make jewelry based on such designs at Auram.”

A great event indeed!!
