NGO Pitrashish Foundation organized a press conference to announce a cultural event- Prayas-Ek Koshish.

Pitrashish Foundation has been working in Jhargram and has been engaged in programs like Aao School Chale, Pitrashish Sathi, Pabotro Lets Talk Periods, and other such programs. The NGO has been working in Jhargram for the last two years in areas like menstruation, education, and others. They distribute sanitary napkins and educational materials. The NGO provides walking sticks for senior citizens and also nutritional food to lactating mothers.

The NGO hopes to work in other areas of Bengal in the future.

Special, orphan, and rescued children along with a live performance of Subhamita Banerjee will be the focus of this cultural event.

35 kids aged between 8 years to 14 years from Jhargram will perform at the event. Apart from them, 5 kids with polio will also share the stage with them and will perform sitting on their wheelchairs.

The event will take place on 8^th July at EZCC from 3.30 pm onwards.
