Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata, the largest running festival in West Bengal and the first World Athletics Gold Label 25K in history, celebrated a significant milestone. With an inspiring energy that reflected the spirit of Kolkata #AamarKolkataShonarKolkata, over 20,500 runners came together at the historic Red Road in the spirit of competition, community welfare, and social good.
With the combined efforts of more than 30 NGO partners, the philanthropy drive has raised an astounding Rs 29.91 lakh for its ninth edition. This kindness will enable them to reach more people, support important initiatives, enable these organizations to carry out their missions, and bring about long-lasting change.
Since its start, the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata has had a remarkable impact on social change, helping over 75 NGOs, collecting Rs 4.68 Cr, and raising awareness for a variety of causes, such as disability, human rights, education, health, the environment, animals, women’s empowerment, community development, skill development, girl-child education, child sexual abuse, and women’s empowerment.
