Tata Sky organized a screening of award winning short films from around the world. Present at the screening were Bollywood actress Rasika Duggal, director-producer Chintan Sarda and Tarun Sawhney, Head of Global Partnerships-Asia at Shorts International.

Tata Sky ShortsTV will be showcasing previous year’s Oscar nominated short films throughout the month of February along with a Oscar Marathon on the day of the Oscar ceremony which is on 24^th February. Subscribers can enjoy the short films from the comfort of their homes, offices and even on the go with Tata Sky Mobile App.

Speaking at the event, Rasika Duggal said “Short films are gaining much importance as people do not have much time now and moreover people are more interested in content driven films. This is helping young actors too to showcase their talents as lot of work has emerged due to the widening of the scope of film making”.

Movies screened at the event include Eleven O’Clock, French Roast, Bear Story and The Voorman Problem.
