The teaser of the upcoming Bengali film Kanya is out now.

In the emotionally charged tale Kanya, two sisters—Sudipa, the older sister, and Sukanya, the younger sister—met after a ten-year separation as a result of their father’s illness. Sukanya and Surojit, Sudipa’s ex-husband, are now married. When Sudipa is confronted by Sukanya and Surajit, what will happen?

The director and producer of the film is Rohan Sen.

Amrita De, Priyanka Sarkar, Rishi Kaushik, Biswanath Basu, and Biswajit Chakraborty are the cast of the film.

The music composer of the film is Ishan Mitra.

Iman Chakraborty, Shrestha Das, Ishan Mitra, and Arpita Sarkar have sung the songs in the film.

Barish has written the lyrics for the songs.

The film will release on 12th September 2025.
