The special screening of Tekka was held at Inox, South City Mall in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.

Also gracing the occasion were eminent actors and actresses from the Bengali film fraternity.

The film Tekka is about Iqlakh (Dev) who is a janitor by profession. He takes a great step of taking hostage a child in a high-rise building when he loses his job. His desperation catches the eye of ACP Maya (Rukmini Maitra). She is an expert negotiator who is brought in to resolve the grave situation. Ira (Swastika Mukherjee) is the mother of the kidnapped kid. It also shows two young journalists Brishti and Tintin (Sreeja Dutta and Aryann Bhowmik) who are caught in the middle of this 48-hour hostage crisis.

The film is produced by Gurupada Adhikari and Dev.

Sujan Mukherjee, Tota Roy Chowdhury, and others will also be seen in vital roles in the film.

The story and screenplay of the film is by Bhaskar Chattopadhyay.
