The mahurat of the upcoming Bengali film Norok was graced by the cast and crew of the film.

The film is directed by Joydeb Mondal.

Norok is basically a thriller. The director did not want to shed more light on the story. Norok explores the conflict between loss, love, and the reality of death.

This is a woman-centric story.

Rohan Bhattacharya, Debraj Mukherjee, Parthasarathi Chakraborty, Prasun Gain, Biswajit Chakraborty, and others will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

“I am excited about the film. This is my first time working with Joydeb Mondal. This is a different character that I have not played before. I am looking forward to shooting the film,” said Rohan.

Prasun Gain said, “I am excited for this film as I was for my very first film. It still gives me goosebumps whenever I start working on a film. This is a different story, and I have a role that is very different from the ones I have played before. I hope that the audience likes it. Working with Debraj Mukherjee is always a pleasure. I know what he can do, and he also knows what I will do in a scene. That helps a lot in acting”.

Debraj Mukherjee said, “This is a murder mystery with a message. I will not reveal much about the character. I play a positive character, which I do not get to play much. I look forward to having fun on the sets and doing a great job with this character”.

Pritam Deb will be composing the music for the film. There are four songs in the film.

Murshidabad and Kolkata are the places where the film will be shot.

The film is presented by Sama Movies and produced by Abu Sama.

The shoot will begin after the Durga Puja.
