Two New Awards Now In Sharad Srijoni Samman

More than just a festival, Durga Puja is a huge celebration of communal spirit, artistic talent, and collaborative innovation. It is the beating heart of Bengal’s cultural identity. As a result, the Sharad Srijoni Samman keeps up its tradition of recognizing excellence in Puja creativity by collaborating with Khushee – A Helping Hand, a program that aims to uplift young people and improve the lives of those in need throughout India.
From exquisitely crafted pandals and idols to powerful social messages and cultural innovation, the Sharad Srijoni Samman has honored exceptional accomplishments in Durga Puja artistry since its founding in 2013. Two additional awards have been added to the honor, which originally consisted of five primary categories: artwork, message, concept, social message, and overall excellence.
Sharad Srijoni Chitralekhan Shilpi (Graphic Designer) – for excellence in Puja publicity design.
Sharad Srijoni Special Jury Award – celebrating timeless devotion and artistry in Durga Puja.
The honor also extends its reach to residential complexes for the first time, giving housing society Pujas a bigger stage on which to display their inventiveness. The Sharad Srijoni Samman continues to honor the passion and artistry that characterize Durga Puja by honoring tradition while also embracing innovation.
Khushee, a nonprofit organization founded by India Greens Reality Pvt. Ltd. and devoted to improving the lives of marginalized groups in society by environmental action, cultural participation, and education, complements this celebration of creativity.
The twin essence of Durga Puja—where compassion creates a stronger future and creativity uplifts communities—is highlighted by the collaboration of Sharad Srijoni Samman and Khushee. When taken as a whole, these programs serve as a reminder of the strength of custom, creativity, and social responsibility in creating a better future.
A great initiative indeed to celebrate Durga Puja.
