Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s Tumi Amar Prem Piyasa Out Now

Bangladeshi-origin British vocalist Rubayyat Jahan and famous composer Raja Kaasheff collaborated with living icon Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on the duet Tumi Amar Prem Piyasa, marking a significant milestone for Bengali music. The song, which was released by Dhrub Music Station, is Khan’s eagerly anticipated debut in Bengali music.
Raja Kaasheff directed and arranged the music for the song, which was written by National Film Award-winning writer Kabir Bakul and recorded at Dubai’s Playback Creative Studio. The special partnership, which combines a voice that has endured across generations with great Bengali lyrics, honors the strength of cross-border artistry.
“One of my biggest life accomplishments is singing with Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. I really felt moved by the song’s lyrics, melody, and music, and I gave it my all. I genuinely think viewers will experience the same emotion that I did when I was filming it,” said Rubayyat Jahan.
Speaking on this occasion, Raja Kaasheff said, “It is a dream come true to introduce Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to Bengali music through Rubayyat’s voice. This song serves as a bridge between cultures, and we do not doubt that it will move people everywhere. Its worldwide appeal will be further enhanced by the music video”.
A great song for music lovers!!
