With Zota Healthcare Ltd.’s assistance, Davaindia formally declared its intention to make a major expansion into the eastern portion of India. At the premiere event, which was held at Kolkata’s Fairfield by Marriott, Davaindia discussed its aspirational growth objectives and the advantages these new venues will provide for the community. The company’s ongoing endeavors and its dedication to enhancing public health were also showcased during the event.

In keeping with its goal of providing everyone with affordable, high-quality generic medications, Davaindia said that by the end of the 2025 fiscal year, it intends to open stores in several West Bengal district headquarters. Currently, the group runs more than 1,000 facilities in India, with more than 150 of those being in West Bengal.

This growth is a component of Davaindia‘s larger plan to increase its influence in the eastern states and give the local populace better access to reasonably priced healthcare solutions. Several campaigns and initiatives, including specialized ones designed for West Bengal, have been launched throughout India in response to this growth. The #Change program, which distributes sanitary pads to poor populations and raises awareness through educational materials and in-person events, is noteworthy for its focus on menstruation hygiene and women’s health. Furthermore, the recent #Comeoutandvote campaign emphasized the value of engaging in the political process and urged people to use their right to vote. The #Careforall campaign, which extends care beyond humans to other living things, further demonstrates Davaindia’s holistic approach to health and well-being.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Sujit Paul, Group CEO of Zota Healthcare Ltd. said that people must be made aware of the benefits of using generic medicines. Not only are they affordable, but they are made with equally good quality ingredients just like the branded ones. It is a matter of time before generic medicines become popular among the general masses and they can get rid of their stereotypes around generic medicines.
