125th Vyas Puja of ISKCON’s founder Acharya took place on 31st August 2021 at 63 Tollygunge Road, Kolkata-700033 at 2.30 pm, and the virtual inauguration by Chief Minister Sushri Mamata Banerjee happened on 1st September 2021 at 1.30 pm.

The Founder-Acharya of ISKCON, His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada was born on 1st September 1896 at premises no. 63 Tollygunge Road, Kolata-700033.

Just 30 days back i.e. on 1st August 2021, ISKCON Kolkata got possession of premise no. 63 Tollygunge Road, Kolkata-700033.

A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is one of the greatest sons of Bengal. He was a freedom fighter, philanthropist, spiritual ambassador to the world, and a great reformer of the 20th Century. He spread the message of love and the glory of Bengal to the whole world and built a house where everyone can live. His teachings and message of love have touched and transformed millions of lives worldwide.

He started ISKCON Food for Life program and to date, millions of people have been fed nutritious food. By his inspiration today ISKCON FOOD FOUNDATION & AKSHAY PATRA is feeding free meals to over 30 lacs, students, daily in India.

The government of India issued Rs. 5 postal stamps in his honor. CNN listed him as one of the greatest, successful and famous people in the world. The government of India is also going to issue a Rs 125 coin in honor of Srila Prabhupada’s 125th birth anniversary (on 1st September 2021).
