13-Day International Kolkata Book Fair 2022 Inaugurated By Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee
The International Kolkata Book Fair 2022 was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee at Central Park grounds in Salt Lake.
The 13-day Kolkata Book Fair 2022 is the biggest non-trade book fair in the world.
The inauguration ceremony was also graced by Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim, Minister Sujit Basu, Mala Roy, and Trinamool state general secretary Kunal Ghosh.
Chief Minister also inaugurated the Jago Bangla stall at the book fair. It was built around the theme of Lakshmi Bhandar.
The book fair has 600 stalls and 200 Little Magazine publishers.
Bangladesh is the theme country in 2022. This is the 50th year of the Liberation War of Bangladesh. And the Chief Minister stressed the fact that two Bengals are one and the same.
Central Park was renamed as Book Fair Premises, as announced by the CM.
International Kolkata Book Fair 2022 will be open every day from 12 noon to 6 PM.
