18th Tumi Annanya Awards 2023 Honored Women Achievers
Beyond Dreams organized the 18th Tumi Annanya Awards in 2023 at the Park Hotel in Kolkata, setting a positive example for both the current and future generations.
The Tumi Annanya Awards, a Beyond Dreams event, have garnered attention ever since they began in 2005. Being a heritage event, it aims to influence society while fostering our cultural and humanitarian side. The year 2023 in Tumi Annanya is dedicated to the outstanding women who have made names for themselves on their own.
A few of the past recipients are:
Ms.Shabana Azmi, Ms. Runa Laila, Ms. Aparna Sen, Ms. Mousumi Chatterjee, Ms. Mamta Shankar, Ms.Savitri Chattopadhyay, Late Girija Devi, Ms.Shatabdi Roy, MP, Ms. Indrani Halder, Ms. Usha Uthup, Ms. Tanusree Shankar, Ms. Koel Mallick, Ms. Alokananda Roy, Ms. Dona Ganguly, Ms. Jaya Ahsan, Ms. Nusrat Jahan, Ms, Paoli Dam, Ms. Mimi Chakraborty, and many others, for their contribution in their respective fields.
Chairperson of the Tumi Annanya Awards, Swati Goswami, said, “We always look forward to this time of the year when we honor the best among us. To get to this point, we had to fight to uplift women from all walks of life and empower women. Even though there is still more work to be done, occasions like these serve as a reminder that our efforts are beginning to bear fruit. This year’s awardees included eminent personalities like Swastika Mukherjee, Nusrat Jahan, Ishaa Saha, Mamata Shankar, Alokananda Roy, Lagnajita Chakraborty, PB Academic School, Divya Goenka, Harmeet Kaur, Raj Lakshmi Syam.
