The young audience found great resonance in the film Sitaare Zameen Par, which challenges social norms and celebrates neurodivergence. For kids who don’t often see themselves portrayed on screen, it was a moving and empowering experience.

“This movie is a movement, not just a piece of entertainment. We need more moments like this to normalize neurodiversity and celebrate it,” said Koel Mallick.

The occasion exemplified the strength of collaborations, wherein mission-driven organizations such as Ek Packet Umeed, India Autism Center, and FICCI FLO unite to bring about enduring transformations in lived experience as well as perception.
