The second edition of When the Other Stares Back: Second Edition debuted at Kaee Contemporary, an art gallery in Kolkata. The show will continue through September 2022. The exhibition was curated by Adwait Singh and featured works by artists Jagannath Panda and Gigi Scaria. Its themes center on urbanization and the stories that surround it.

Kaee Contemporary, which Ambica Beri founded six months ago, features established and upcoming artists from India and abroad and places an emphasis on collaborations, site-specific installations, critical dialogue, and educational initiatives.

Jagannath Panda’s “The Profiteer” and Gigi Scaria’s “Lockdown,” are the highlights of the exhibition.
