A Melange of 3 Short Plays was a riveting theatrical production that Rotary Calcutta Mahanagar arranged to highlight the abilities of its distinguished members. With three captivating productions on display, the evening looked to be an enthralling voyage through the worlds of drama, artistry, and narrative.

The three short plays were Haraamkhor, Yagnaseni A Monodrama, and Tathastu.

Each play, written and directed by the renowned Vineet Bhatia, explored the depths of human emotion, societal subtleties, and existential issues from a distinct narrative perspective. The event was a celebration of creativity, invention, and the enduring spirit of community, and it was conceived by the visionary Rashi Mentha and authored by the creative Atul Satya Koushik.

DG Hira Lal Yadav was the evening’s distinguished chief guest. He said, “These kinds of artistic pursuits not only amuse us, but they also enlighten and elevate our spirits. They serve as a monument to the storytelling’s potency in reassuring us of our common humanity and the transforming power of art”.
